    PASTOR

Dr. C. Paul Willis is the pastor of the Cathedral of HIS Glory in Greensboro, North Carolina. This dynamic church began through Pastor Willis’ ministry in a motion picture theater and now meets on its own 26-acre grounds in the 2,000 seat Cathedral auditorium. Paul ministers as the senior pastor assisted by a staff of ministers and elders. He is an ordained minister of the Southern Baptist Convention with over forty years experience as pastor, teacher and evangelist. Pastor Willis uses his training in pastoral counseling and his rich experience in the field to make his Bible teaching reach the emotional and spiritual needs of the congregation.

Dr. Willis has been widely recognized as a Bible teacher in the Charismatic renewal. He has taught in Full Gospel Businessmen’s conventions, in the School of Ministry of Gospel Retreat in Bradenton, Florida, on the 100 Huntley Street television program out of Toronto, Canada, in the Jesus Ohio seminars, The River Bible Institute and on the Cathedral’s own television broadcasts.

Under Dr. Willis’ direction, Ministries of HIS Glory was founded in Guatemala. This ministry now has churches established throughout Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua in Central America, and Colombia, South America. The headquarters of Ministries of HIS Glory is located in Guatemala under Rev. Ron Coffer and the Cathedral of HIS Glory. The Cathedral of HIS Glory also supports various short-term mission outreaches around the world.

Dr. Willis is a graduate of the Tennessee Technical University, Campbell University, and received the Master of Divinity Degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Other graduate studies include the School of Pastoral Care of the Bowman-Gray School of Medicine and the Doctor of Ministry Degree from Oral Roberts University. He has published books and booklets ranging in content from deep theological treatises to Biblical historical fiction to simple yet profound Biblical concepts. They include: Bells and Pomegranates, Christ of the Apocalypse and Born to Triumph published by Destiny Image Publishers, Shippensburg, Pennsylvania; Signs That Make You Wonder and When the Spirit Comes...Whoosh!, published by Four Winds Publishing, LaGrange, Georgia; and Faith Is keeping Your Sails Up When the Wind Ain’t Blowing, Christmas Pudding, A Place In Time, and Something Significant (booklet), published by Christian Word Books, Greensboro, North Carolina.

The heart of Dr. Willis’ ministry is to equip the body of Christ through pastoring and teaching to go out and evangelize the world. He supports local as well as national missions and encourages his parishioners to find their “mission field” and to “Go ye into all the world...” as the Lord leads!

Paul Willis and his wife, Mary, have been married fifty-three years and have three children and nine grandchildren.
